Welcome to Our Club
Valley Isle Sport Shooters Club is a non-profit organization registered and incorporated within the State of Hawaii.
We host, on average, 10 events per month that are open to the general public and our members:
- “Open Days” – An event to safely shoot pistols and rifles.
- “IPSC” – United States Practical Shooting Association sponsored event.
- “CAS” – Single Action Shooting Society” sponsored event.
Please note that VISSC events are hosted solely by members who volunteer their time. This volunteer time is given in the midst of each volunteer’s personal life and when ever possible to keep this club running. We could always use more volunteers!
The Range Memberships
Become a member and enjoy all of the wonderful activities and people of the club.
After 2 years of the Covid 19 pandemic range operations, we have received the approval to revert back to our pre-covid way of running open days.
Effective immediately we will be cancelling our on-line booking, and returning to 1st come, 1st served.
The Open day range sessions will remain the 1st Sunday, 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month.
The hours of operation will be gate opens at 7:30am, followed by all shooters signing in, setting targets, and a range briefing with shooting starting at 8:30am and concluding at 1:00pm.
There will be occasional cease fires to allow the shooters to reset, replace, check and pull in your targets. This will also allow a new shooter to take over a table from a shooter who’s leaving.
The cost of the session will increase to $10.00 for non members of the Valley Isle Sport Shooters Club. Club members, Law Enforcement and Active Duty Military will shoot for free on Open days.
What is the effect of the change.
First of all to those with existing reservations, I would like to apologize for any inconvenience.
The net effect of the change is you will have a longer shooting time and no longer limited to 1 hour. There will be frequent cease fires to allow you to check, replace, move or if you’re ready to leave put your target away without having to wait an hour. In addition this will allow more shooters to use the range.
